A small coastal town residing inside kingdom Ilocandia, Pagudpud magnificently lays down its spectacular landscape and breathtaking views that is facing and adjoining the China Sea. It exhibits the beautifully sculpted hills that overlook the sea and tracing the long windy shore of fine white sand and pebbles that you would surely dream to have a walk with.
I couldn't help my self but to take pictures of a beautiful haven that showcases the famous Blue Lagoon (Maira-ira Beach) at Brgy. Balaoi, Malingay, Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. Please let me share the images that would capture the heart of every traveler, nature lover and sightseer alike. I'm not a professional photographer naturally but I hope you would still see the beauty bounded in it. Just my little share.
Not far from those spots shown above are the neighboring and another captivating places that you shouldn't miss to witness such as the following:
Bantay-Abot Cave
White Rock Formation - Kapurpurawan Beach
Patapat Bridge
Bangui Windmills
Souvenir items, small replicas of the towering Bangui Windmills which are made of wood are ready for you to take home for "pasalubong" at a very reasonable price. During the stressful day, seeing this stuff on top of your office table with its wind-driven blade turning, would make you worth remembering a pollution-free place beside the sea where soft wind caresses your skin. Now, that is soothing, isn't it?
And of course, I would not like to miss the important thing that took me from one place to another. Tararan!! MY ULTIMATE RIDE, a kind of a transformed three-wheeled vehicle that is operated by the locals . Tour package is offered for about Php 600.00 (Philippine Peso / estimated $13.00 USD) for several travel attractions. That great experience would have not been enjoyed much without that another "authentic Filipino creativity". The Tricycle.
One that made the experience enjoying much is the outstanding hospitality service the tour guide and a driver at the same time offered during the tour.
